Massage with heated volcanic basalt stones, combining massage techniques with the effects of heat. Stones are heated to 40 to 55 degrees Celsius and selected according to the treatment and the client's characteristics. The massage is performed from the feet towards the neck, followed by washing, massage oil treatment of the feet and hands, and 10 minutes of rest under a sheet. Suitable indications listed on the page include chronic fatigue, insomnia, depression, mood swings, excess weight, cellulite, back, neck and joint pain, local muscle tension, and frequent prolonged colds. Contraindications include acute fever, damaged skin, decompensated illnesses, pregnancy, and conditions where heat exposure is undesirable, including cancer and varicose veins of the lower limbs.
