Pre-visit planning, day-of support, and communication assistance for patients with autism, their families, and clinical teams. Support may help with medical appointments and procedures, including blood draws, eye exams, dental visits, vaccine administration, EEG or MRI, pulmonary treatments, emergency room visits, and inpatient stays. Consultations can be requested by Boston Medical Center clinicians or staff, or by families in advance of a scheduled appointment or admission.
