A qualified home care assistant helps older people and people with reduced mobility get up safely and at their own pace. The service generally includes transfer assistance from bed to chair or standing, help with washing at the sink, shower or in bed, dressing, breakfast preparation and assistance, medication assistance according to prescription and within the legal framework, conversation and stimulation, and bed making and tidying the bedroom. Available daily, weekdays only, or occasionally, including weekends and public holidays. Suitable for fragile older people, people with moderate to severe loss of autonomy, people with neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's, and people returning home after hospitalisation.
