Home physiotherapy following total or partial knee replacement. Rehabilitation addresses swelling, range of motion, muscle strength, safe mobilisation, walking patterns and functional mobility. Typical rehabilitation lasts 12 to 16 weeks, with improvements potentially continuing for up to a year. Sessions may include exercises such as ankle pumps, quad sets, heel slides, short arc quads, step-ups, mini squats and cycling, plus Physiolab cryotherapy and compression equipment for post-operative swelling.
