Details.
Home physiotherapy following total or partial knee replacement. Rehabilitation focuses on reducing swelling, restoring range of motion, safe mobilisation, quadriceps strength, walking pattern and functional mobility. Typical rehabilitation spans 12 to 16 weeks, with improvements potentially continuing for up to a year. Sessions may include ankle pumps, quad sets, heel slides, short arc quads, step-ups, mini squats and cycling, plus Physiolab cryotherapy and compression equipment to manage post-operative swelling.
