At-home speech therapy provided by speech-language pathologists for difficulties with speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and communication. Services may include evaluation of speech, swallowing, or language disorders, assistance with non-verbal communication, lip, tongue, and facial exercises, procedures to restore communication and swallowing abilities, food texture recommendations and meal planning, communication system development and training, safe swallowing evaluation and assistance, and therapy to improve verbal expression and articulation. Services may be provided for dysphagia, Parkinson's disease, stroke, dementia, neuro deficits due to head injury, ALS, and speech articulation disorders.
