Includes specialist medical crews, advanced medical equipment, on-scene assessment and intervention, patient stabilisation, transfer to an appropriate hospital, and coordination with local authorities, hospitals and rescue agencies. Missions may support road traffic accidents, sports injuries, industrial incidents, maritime emergencies, natural disasters and humanitarian crises. Onward transfer to a fixed-wing air ambulance can be arranged when required.
