Trained specialists administer the therapy while helping patients rehabilitate swallowing muscles. Specially designed electrodes deliver a small, painless electric current to stimulate the submental region. Available for pediatric and adult patients and must be delivered by a Guardian Way trained speech-language pathologist under the direction of certified health care professionals.
