Guided Biofilm Therapy uses low abrasive erythritol powder airflow and an ultrasonic scaler with warm water to remove biofilm, plaque, calculus and stains. Treatment can be used for gum disease around natural teeth and implants, orthodontic bracket maintenance, and for adults and children. Appointments include a periodontal gum evaluation, plaque disclosure and scoring, tailored oral hygiene instruction, home-care advice, airflow cleaning, ultrasonic scaling where needed, plaque and bleeding scores, and an information booklet about GBT. Additional charges of £20 or more may apply and will be discussed before or at the hygiene appointment.
