Adjustment of the LAP-BAND® using saline injected through the access port. The process commences 6 weeks post-operatively and is performed when the patient is hungry and not losing weight. Initial adjustment uses 1.5cc of saline, followed by adjustments of 0.5 to 1cc until early satiety and appetite suppression are experienced.
