Includes questions about family history and health choices, recording height, weight, age, sex and ethnicity, blood pressure measurement, and a simple cholesterol blood test. The check takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Results are discussed with personalised advice on reducing risk and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Some people may be offered further blood tests or treatment and medication. Available to people aged 40 to 74 who have not been diagnosed with the listed conditions, once every five years.
