In some circumstances, legal work for a case or a particular part of it may be offered for a fixed fee. Fixed fees are intended for more straightforward cases with a predictable beginning and end. The work included and excluded is set out in the initial letter. Additional charges may apply if the circumstances materially change, subject to discussion and agreement before the additional work is undertaken.
