A confidential mediation process for separating or separated parents and other family members to resolve disputes, including children's living arrangements, education, communication, child support, health care and holiday arrangements. The process includes a separate assessment session of about one hour per party and a joint session of up to three hours attended by the parties and two Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners. Additional sessions may be required. Mediation can be arranged throughout the Sydney metropolitan area and much of New South Wales. Independent legal advice is recommended before and, if appropriate, during the process.
