Details.
A series of high-energy percussions delivered to the affected area to stimulate the body's natural healing process, break down scar tissue or calcification, and reduce pain. Approximately 2,000 shocks are administered per treatment area. Treatment may be uncomfortable, and possible after-effects include pain, swelling, reddening, bruising and haematomas. Normally three to six treatments are required at weekly intervals. Avoid anti-inflammatory medication and ice after treatment, and reduce activity for 48 hours.
