Provides tuition and specialist education support for children and young people aged five to 18 living in kinship, foster, residential care or lead tenant care in the local government areas of Yarra Ranges, Maroondah and Knox. Support includes high quality teaching instruction, one-to-one assertive outreach, individualised learning and intensive education support, advocacy, school re-engagement plans and school-based behaviour support plans. The program is for children and young people who are disengaged or at risk of disengagement from school. Referrals can be made by the child or young person, carers, case managers, schools, placement agencies, Health and Education Assessment Coordinators and care team members.
