GTAC scientists and equipment visit rural Victorian Government schools in the Gippsland region to provide contemporary life science programs for students and teachers. The visit is open to rural Government schools only and is offered free of cost to the school, excluding some incidental materials required for the programs. Previous programs have included genetics, forensic science, DNA manipulation tools and techniques, and evolution.
