The appointment includes an HD video otoscopy examination, image-guided microsuction wax removal where appropriate, and a basic hearing check. Delivered in a private consultation room by a Tympa-trained and individually accredited pharmacist or qualified pharmacy technician. Olive oil or pharmacy ear drops are recommended twice daily for 5 to 7 days before the appointment. Suitable for both ears and subject to individual assessment.
