Details.
A low-risk treatment using sterile, single-use, small diameter acupuncture-type needles inserted into specific points or trigger points in the body to relieve pain, reduce muscle tension, improve range of motion and support recovery. Suitable for most people, but may be contraindicated during the first trimester of pregnancy, with blood clotting disorders, higher infection risk, needle phobia or metal allergies. Treatment may last a few minutes and can cause a dull ache or muscle twitch. Post-treatment soreness, bruising or minor bleeding may occur, and improvement may take 24 to 48 hours.
