Details.
Thin, customized shells carefully attached to the front surface of the teeth. Veneers can mask smile blemishes, discolouration, minor chips, chipped or broken teeth, slight crowding, overlapping, and gaps between teeth. Candidates may include patients whose discolouration cannot be lightened with teeth whitening, who have chipped, cracked or broken teeth, misaligned smiles or gaps, and enough tooth enamel for veneer application. Patients who clench or grind their teeth or have a deep overbite may not be suitable. Aftercare includes regular brushing and flossing, avoiding biting ice, fingernails or hard objects, wearing a mouthguard during activities, and being aware that coffee, red wine and tea can cause surface stains.
