Details.
A custom-made indirect filling used to restore areas of decay or damage that are too extensive for a normal filling. The treatment involves removing decay or old fillings, cleaning the tooth, taking images and impressions, fitting a temporary restoration, then permanently fixing the inlay with dental adhesive. Inlays are cemented within the cavity of the tooth and can be made from porcelain, composite or gold. They are usually placed in back teeth or used to repair large areas on front teeth.
