Details.
A permanent tooth replacement solution involving a metal post that fuses with the jawbone and an artificial tooth placed on top. Implants can replace a single tooth, several teeth, or all teeth. Treatment may include removing damaged teeth, bone grafts, sinus lift augmentation, post placement, a healing period, and placement of the artificial tooth. Computer-enhanced treatment planning is used to support implant placement. Patients must not smoke and need sufficient healthy jawbone and healthy gums.
