Details.
Orthopantomogram radiographic imaging that captures a panoramic view of the upper and lower jaws, teeth, and surrounding structures in a single image. Used to identify cavities, assess tooth positioning and jawbone health, diagnose dental infections, plan orthodontic treatment and dental implants, detect jaw fractures or tumours, and assess the temporomandibular joints. No preparation is necessary. Remove glasses, hair accessories, and jewellery before the scan, and bring your referral form, Medicare card, pension or concession card, and any prior imaging. The scan is swift and should not cause discomfort. Results are sent to your dentist or doctor for review.
