The procedure may include diagnostic images, a review of the treatment, local numbing, removal of the decayed area, cleaning, and placement of a filling to restore tooth structure and function. Sedation is available for patients with dental phobia or anxiety. Composite fillings matching the shade of the tooth are offered.
