Custom-made restorations that cover and protect damaged or weakened teeth, restoring their shape, strength and function. Suitable for teeth that are cracked, heavily filled, weakened by decay or affected by root canal treatment. Treatment includes a detailed consultation, tooth preparation, a digital or physical impression, and fitting, adjustment and bonding of the custom crown. A temporary crown may be placed while the final crown is crafted. Crowns are made to match the colour, translucency, shape and contours of the surrounding teeth. Treatment is carried out under local anaesthetic. Mild sensitivity may occur afterwards and usually subsides within a few days.
