Details.
A crown completely covers a real tooth or an implant abutment. Crowns are made from porcelain fused to metal or metal-free zirconium and may be used where a tooth has broken, decayed or been damaged, to improve appearance, correct the bite, or form part of a dental bridge. Fitting a crown to a natural tooth involves drilling it down, taking an impression and cementing the final crown in place. Implant crowns and bridges can be screw retained or cemented.
