A fixed bridge for replacing missing teeth. Usually used where there are fewer teeth to replace, or when missing teeth are only on one side of the mouth. Bridges are usually made with a precious metal base, with porcelain bonded to the base where the bridge will show. Other non-precious metals may sometimes be used to reduce the cost.
