A conservative treatment using tooth-colored white filling material to repair slightly chipped, discolored, or crooked teeth and improve their appearance. Bonding can also be used instead of amalgam fillings on front or back teeth, depending on the location and extent of tooth decay. It is usually completed in one office visit. Bonding can stain or break more easily than porcelain veneers, but chipped or broken bonding can generally be patched or repaired in one visit.
