A specialised imaging examination used to diagnose and assess the extent of endometriosis in the pelvic region, including ovarian endometriomas, bowel endometriosis, bladder endometriosis, uterosacral ligament involvement and rectovaginal septum involvement. Mild bowel preparation may be recommended, and you may be asked to have a full bladder for part of the examination and then empty it for another part. The team will provide preparation instructions before the appointment.
