Details.
A podiatrist evaluates your biomechanics and gait, takes a 3D scan of your feet, and prescribes orthotics tailored to your needs. Images and the prescription are sent to a partner orthotics lab, which creates the orthotics. Custom orthotics support movement by correcting and realigning the heel and arch, and can be designed to suit your preferred shoes. They may be used to treat or manage issues including back, ankle, knee, heel and arch pain, general movement, diabetes, bunions, trauma and sprains.
