A non-invasive cardiac CT scan focusing on the coronary arteries. Contrast is used to help visualise the arteries clearly and assess heart and vessel health. Preparation instructions may include guidance on food, caffeine and medications, depending on the referral. The scan is usually quick, but allow time for check-in and preparation. Results are provided in a report to the referring practitioner.
