Details.
A collaborative therapeutic process providing a supportive, non-judgemental space to talk openly about thoughts and feelings. Together with the counsellor, clients explore what underlies their current feelings, identify negative thought and behaviour patterns, and develop new ways of thinking and behaving to become more resourceful and better able to cope with future challenges. Counselling may benefit people experiencing overwhelm, low confidence, persistent problems, sadness, anxiety, anger, substance misuse, difficulty focusing, relationship difficulties, self-harm concerns, or difficulty recovering from bereavement.
