Ultrasound-guided cortisone injection for inflammatory foot and ankle pain that has not responded well to conservative management and rehabilitation. May provide short-to-medium term pain relief by reducing swelling, stiffness and inflammation. Used for conditions including plantar fasciitis, Morton's neuroma, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, sesamoiditis, synovitis, capsulitis, bursitis, plantar plate tears, sinus tarsi syndrome, gout, Achilles tendinopathy, tarsal tunnel syndrome and posterior tibial tendonitis.
