Complex coronary intervention for multivessel and other challenging coronary artery disease, including bifurcation, calcified, left main, chronic total occlusion, and vein graft lesions. The heart team approach includes consultation with a cardiologist, cardiothoracic surgeon, and cardiac interventionalist. Adjunct techniques may include atherectomy, thrombectomy, distal protection devices, and left ventricular assist devices for selected patients with reduced ejection fraction.
