Details.
A clinical exercise system that combines the traditional Pilates method with modern research into musculoskeletal dysfunction. Used to help manage acute or chronic injuries as part of rehabilitation, and to support core stability, flexibility, strength and general conditioning. Sessions use specialised equipment including Pilates reformers, trapeze tables, fit balls and foam rollers. Instructors teach muscle contraction techniques and tailor exercises to each person's condition, pain and ability, progressing them when possible and tolerated.
