Rehabilitation in hospital for children and young people up to 16 years old who have acquired brain injuries and no longer need major medical treatment. The service helps them develop skills and reduce the impact of the injury on everyday life after leaving hospital. Staff work with children, young people and their families to create a personalised plan focused on their goals. The service also works with children and young people on other wards if needed. A typical stay on Savannah ward is 6 weeks.
