Catholic wedding ceremonies can be arranged in a church near the selected venue and are valid in Italy and abroad. A Catholic ceremony without civil effect can also be organised where the required documentation is provided. Religious paperwork must be received by the Italian Curia at least two months before the wedding, and ceremonies can be celebrated in English or Italian with an interpreter.
