For patients with no previous glaucoma surgery and without advanced glaucoma, a postoperative follow-up appointment is provided one to two weeks after surgery unless a next-day review is specifically required. Steroid and antibiotic eye drops are used for roughly one month after surgery, in addition to any glaucoma medication.
