Treatment for thread veins, spider veins and rosacea using IPL. The non-invasive treatment uses short pulses of light to heat and destroy the vein, which shrinks over the following weeks and is re-absorbed by the body. Suitable for permanent red flushing, broken thread veins and red spots. The skin may be slightly red after treatment, usually disappearing within a few hours to a day. Recommended course is 1 to 5 sessions, with one session every 3 to 4 weeks.
