Results are immediate from day one, and lip injections tend to last around 3 to 4 months. The filler is reversible and can be removed in seconds if needed. Potential side effects include bleeding, bruising, swelling, pain, allergic reaction, skin sensitivity, infection, lumpiness, scarring, skin necrosis, hyperpigmentation, and reactivation of herpes infection.
