Certifying training preparing for the professional title of dental assistant registered with the RNCP. The training takes place through work-study with a dental surgeon or a doctor practising in the field of oral and dental medicine, under a professionalisation or apprenticeship contract. It covers professional knowledge and skills, their application in care situations, and analysis of professional situations. Access requires being at least 18 years old and having a minimum level 3 qualification. An employer must hire the learner as a dental assistant in training.
