Uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, exposure-based techniques, coping skills, realistic thinking, brave behavior practice, and parent-focused strategies. Treatment is tailored to the child's age and may address phobias, social anxiety, separation anxiety, generalized anxiety, avoidance, reassurance-seeking, rituals, and just-right behaviors.
