Muscle relaxant injection treatment for areas commonly discussed at consultation, including frown lines, forehead lines, crow's feet, brow lift, bunny lines, lip flip, gummy smile, chin dimpling, downturned mouth corners, jaw slimming, neck bands and severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis. Treatment areas are cleansed and facial expressions may be assessed before five to ten small injections per area using a fine needle. Most appointments take 15 to 30 minutes. Aftercare typically includes avoiding rubbing or pressing the treated areas for at least 4 hours, staying upright for the first 4 hours, avoiding strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours, and avoiding heat exposure for 24 hours. Full effects appear around two weeks, with follow-up typically scheduled at two weeks if minor adjustments are needed. Treatment is temporary and results last three to six months on average.
