Children learn to play chime bars and participate in songs, rhymes, dances, instrumental activities and musical games. Activities develop speech and communication, auditory processing, literacy, numeracy, pro-social behaviour, motor skills, attention, self-regulation, reading, decision-making and memory. Children learn simple notation and compose their own pieces of music. Children may attend on their own, with parents invited for the last 10 minutes. At least one parent from the class must remain for the whole class on a rotation basis. Initial enrolment includes a set of chime bars, Mini Maestros Bag, a different music book each term and an online course with weekly lessons. Maximum 10 regular students.
