Swim Around the Yellow Poles

9am Saturdays at Williamstown Beach. Swim a 700m course and choose the number of laps at your own pace. The group has support from two First Aiders on rescue boards and operates in the deep water between the yellow boating markers 200m off Williamstown Beach. Price is $20, or $10 for club members. Meet at the western end of Williamstown Beach, near the carpark behind the Williamstown SLSC, about 15 minutes early.

8am Saturdays at Williamstown Beach. Get coached in shallow water in a small group, with total swimming of up to 1km in about 40 minutes. Learn breathing for open water swimming, sighting, efficient freestyle stroking, high body position and how to swim straight. Maximum 12 swimmers in waist deep water. Price is $25, or $15 for club members.
