Per Diem Salon Suite Rental

Rent a fully equipped treatment room in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood for $55 per day, billed monthly by days booked. The room is available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Included are full use of the treatment room, treatment table, towel warmer, wax and sugar warming pots including the patented Mella professional warmer, all room equipment, and utilities. Renters supply their own service products, gloves, and linens. A valid Washington State esthetician, cosmetology, or massage therapy license, a Washington State business license, and a 6-month lease agreement are required.

Forgotten Mask Policy

Masks are required in the salon. If you forget your mask, you can purchase a disposable mask for $10 or pay the same-day cancellation price of $40 and reschedule to the next available option.

Cancellation or Reschedule Policy

Same-day cancellation or reschedule has a $40 fee. Less than 24 hours notice has a $25 fee. Notice from 24 hours to 7 days has a $15 fee. There are no exceptions for COVID-related issues, including exposures, quarantines, or testing.

Sliding Scale Brazilian Sugaring

Waxy Moon mainly does Brazilian sugaring and uses a sliding scale to make the service more accessible to all budgets. Please pay what you're able to within the posted range of $35 to $80. Limited services to small areas only, with no large-area or whole-body sugaring.

Advanced Brazilian Sugaring Training

Hands-on advanced sugaring technique training for licensed estheticians, cosmetologists, or esthetics students who already know how to sugar and have performed Brazilian sugaring services. Each student performs one full Brazilian service on their own live model while receiving real-time coaching, then observes two other students with expert commentary. Sessions are limited to 3 students and run 1 to 3 hours depending on the group. Materials are included. A $150 non-refundable deposit reserves a spot, with the $150 balance due on the day of the session.
