Afternoon Tea is served Monday to Sunday at 11.30 am, 1.30 pm, 3.30 pm, 5.30 pm and 7.30 pm. The experience includes finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve, pastries and teacakes replenished on request, 20 types of loose-leaf tea, and two generous slices of cake served tableside from the guéridon trolley. Prices start from £95 for adults and £73 for children. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free menus are available upon request. A dress code applies: gentlemen must wear a jacket and tie, and jeans and sportswear are not permitted. Specific allergies cannot be accommodated with additional menu adjustments on the day.

Celebration Afternoon Tea

Enhance Afternoon Tea for a birthday, anniversary or another special occasion with a celebration cake, a glass or bottle of Champagne, or both. Guests enjoy 20 loose-leaf teas, finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve, pastries replenished on request, and traditional English cakes served tableside from the cake trolley. Celebration cakes are available in 4-inch size for £30 or 6-inch size for £48. A 12.5% discretionary service charge applies, prices include VAT, and full prepayment is required for celebration cakes.

The experience includes finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve, cakes and pastries, seasonal cakes served tableside from the guéridon trolley, and musical entertainment. A glass of Champagne starts at £25 and includes VAT at the prevailing rate at the time of payment.

The elegant ambience is complemented by live musical ensembles. In the Queen Elizabeth Room, Wimborne Room and William Kent Room, a pianist performs Monday to Sunday from 11.30 am to 1.00 pm, 1.30 pm to 3.00 pm, 3.30 pm to 5.00 pm and 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm. A piano, cello and violin trio performs Monday to Friday from 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm, while a pianist performs Saturday and Sunday from 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm. In the Music Room, a harpist performs Monday to Sunday from 11.30 am to 1.00 pm, 1.30 pm to 3.00 pm, 3.30 pm to 5.00 pm, 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm and 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm. Entertainment and times are subject to change.
