These 90-minute student-led campus tours introduce visitors to the undergraduate academic facilities at Parsons School of Design, Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts, and/or the College of Performing Arts. Tours provide a general overview of campus facilities frequented by undergraduate students. Appointments are required, student housing is not included, and registrants are limited to one guest unless the tour is not fully booked.

Immersive Discover Days invite prospective undergraduate students and their families to participate virtually or in person. The program includes discussions with current students and staff about The New School, undergraduate programs, admission, financial aid, and campus life.

Undergraduate Portfolio Reviews

Virtual one-on-one portfolio review sessions give undergraduate prospective students the opportunity to meet with a Parsons undergraduate admissions representative and discuss work being considered for inclusion in an application portfolio. Participants should be prepared to share digital documentation, including best and most recent work. Works-in-progress and sketchbooks are welcome.

National Portfolio Days

National Portfolio Day events are held virtually and in person in multiple locations across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Students can meet individually with representatives from accredited art and design colleges and universities to review artwork, discuss programs, and ask questions about professional careers in art and design.

Liberal Arts Transfer Days

Prospective transfer students interested in liberal arts can register for an individual appointment to discuss the transfer application process and receive an estimate of eligible transfer credits.

Undergraduate Class Visits

Prospective students can experience a New School education by sitting in on a class during the fall or spring semester. Class visits are not available from May through August. Visits are available for Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts and the College of Performing Arts. Parsons undergraduate studio class visits are not available.

Virtual events give prospective students and their families the opportunity to connect directly with members of The New School student team. Students discuss the university, academic programs, application processes, student life, and life on the urban campus, and answer questions.
