The programme runs from 09:30 to 17:00 at Hong Kong Football Club, Happy Valley.

A practical grounding course for professionals who act, or may be asked to act, as Expert Witnesses in Hong Kong, Singapore and other jurisdictions in Asia and Oceania. Suitable for those beginning Expert Witness work, experienced Experts seeking a refresher, senior professionals, lawyers and others who instruct Experts. The course covers the Expert's role and duties, accepting instructions, Terms of Engagement, Codes of Practice, fact-finding, reports, meetings of Experts and the use of Artificial Intelligence in Expert Witness work. Delivered by practising Experts and lawyers, it combines established principles with practical experience of litigation, arbitration, adjudication and other dispute processes.

Mediators' New Breakfast Club

Sessions combine practical discussion, guest presentations and professional networking, covering mediation skills, case management, business development, emerging areas of dispute resolution and wider developments within the profession. Attendees are invited to bring their concerns, experience, problems and thoughts for discussion. This event is organised externally and The Academy of Experts does not take or manage bookings.

Ceremony of the Keys

A unique opportunity to see the Tower of London and witness the centuries-old Ceremony of the Keys. Before the ceremony, Yeoman Sergeant Jimmy leads a tour of the Tower grounds and shares its stories and history. Guests can then enjoy refreshments at The Keys, the Beefeaters' cash-only public house. The ticket includes a welcome drink, with the remaining ticket collection donated to the Chief Yeoman Warder's charity. Guests must be at least 18 years old. Places are limited to 30. Assembly is at 7:20 pm outside the West Gate, with the tour starting promptly at 7:30 pm. Jacket and tie are required for gentlemen, with an appropriate equivalent for ladies. No jeans or trainers. There is no catering arranged in the Tower.

Annual Lunch & Seminar

The Academy's Annual Lunch & Seminar at the Royal Air Force Club in Piccadilly. Members are encouraged to bring personal guests. The event includes a seminar providing an update on the previous year's events affecting the Expert Witness and Alternative Dispute Resolution worlds, followed by a pre-lunch reception, lunch and drinks. Numbers are limited and bookings operate on a first come, first served basis.
