Regulatory Efficiency Review Comment Period

Submit preliminary written comments on the Texas Historical Commission's proposed rule repeals, substantive amendments, fast-track plain-language and citation updates, and rules for further review. Comments are particularly requested on possible cost savings. Submit comments to RuleComments@thc.texas.gov by August 25, 2026 at 5:00 pm CST. A separate opportunity for input will be available during formal rule proposals.
