Customized Broadway Workshops

StudentsLive offers custom-designed in-person workshops for groups of 20 or more, with virtual workshops available upon request. Workshops are led by a Broadway guest artist and Artistic Director Amy Weinstein, and typically include an introduction to the show and artists, music, acting and choreography instruction, student showcases with professional feedback, a behind-the-scenes question and answer session, and a group photo. Workshops are available on a date of the group's choice, run 60 to 120 minutes, and take place in Times Square area rehearsal studios or convenient Broadway rehearsal spaces and theaters. Available times are 10:00 to 18:30. Workshops can be paired with a Broadway show or offered without show attendance.

Broadway Masterclass Series

A two-hour Broadway workshop for a show of the group's choice, taught by a StudentsLive teaching artist and a Broadway guest artist. The session includes a warm-up and introduction, demonstration and instruction in music, choreography or acting, student showcases with professional feedback, and a question and answer session. Performance workshops teach a number from a chosen Broadway show. Behind-the-scenes options include stage management, casting, makeup, costume, set and lighting design, producing, general and company management, and directing. Group minimums are 20 or more, and workshops are available for all ages.

Career Day on Broadway

An interactive Broadway career workshop for Scouts, students and families, subject to performance and ticket availability. Participants may interact with Broadway directors, producers, general managers, choreographers, stage managers, casting directors, and lighting, costume and set designers. The program may include learning music and choreography from Broadway performers, work sessions with Broadway guests, opportunities to perform an original piece if selected, and theater trivia games with Broadway prizes.

Broadway Audition Weekend Workshop
